Job Description Job Description Estimator Estimator Position Overview The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project costs, preparing detailed project estimates, and providing key insights that inform budget decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids while minimizing risk and maximizing value for the company. Key Responsibilities Analyze project documents, specifications, and blueprints to prepare accurate estimates Conduct cost analysis to determine the financial feasibility of projects Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and schedules Perform risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and project challenges Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists for projects Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractors Maintain thorough documentation of all estimates and changes throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction cost analysis and budgeting Excellent skills in construction estimating and risk assessment Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications Experience with quantity takeoff and negotiation Familiarity with project management principles and scheduling techniques Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurances Life and other voluntary insurances 401(k) Retirement Plan (with possible company match) Paid Time Off and Holidays Merit Shop Contractor Continuous Training Courses Car allowance, Gas and Milage reimbursement - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
