Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist opportunity is available for candidates experienced working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position is based in Altoona, PA, and involves providing psychological services within a school setting on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments for students across K-12 grade levels (grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student learning and wellbeing Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to address student needs and enhance educational outcomes Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring Desired Experience and Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a school psychologist Experience conducting assessments and interventions for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Strong understanding of child development and learning disabilities Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards Location: Altoona, PA Employment Type: Contract This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through psychological support.
