Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Alabaster,
AL. This contract position spans the current school year, offering
a 37.5-hour workweek starting ASAP through May 22, 2026. The role
is based across two school sites located approximately 40 minutes
north of Montgomery and one hour south of Birmingham, Alabama. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language evaluations and therapies
to students with communication disorders. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student
progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance
with school policies. Implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) tailored to students needs. Participate in team meetings and
contribute professional insights regarding student care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification in
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or relevant credential for
SLPA. Experience working in educational, pediatric, or healthcare
settings. Familiarity with the Comprehensive School Year (CSY)
schedule. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently across multiple
school sites. Strong communication and teamwork skills to support
diverse student populations. Location:Alabaster, AlabamaTwo school
