Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available
at an elementary school serving PreK through 2nd-grade students in
Gadsden, AL. This contract position is for the current school year,
offering a dynamic environment to work with young children on
speech and language development. Responsibilities include providing
early intervention and direct services, conducting some
evaluations, and managing a caseload of approximately 20 students.
You will work closely with children in PreK, kindergarten, and
early elementary grades to support their communication needs and
promote effective speech and language skills. Key qualifications
and experience: Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
license Experience working in school settings preferred Ability to
work with PreK through 2nd grade populations Clinical Fellowship
Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials
are valued Strong skills in early intervention and providing direct
speech/language therapy The position offers a typical school day
schedule, with bell times starting at either 7:15 AM or 8:00 AM
(depending on the building) and ending at 2:00 PM to accommodate
car pickup lanes. Weekly hours total 37.5 for full-time roles, with
part-time options available to fit your scheduling needs. Interview
