Are you an ambitious engineer with a strong problem-solving background who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration? In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacturing processes for this specialty tire manufacturer. You'll have the opportunity to make a mark on every facet of the plant and processes, from machine efficiency to Value Stream mapping to capital improvement. As a Process Engineer, you'll be a solo artist with strong cross-functional support, managing multiple projects concurrently, while constantly re-prioritizing to address challenges as they arise. Who You Are

• A hands-on engineer with an eye for detail and problem solving and a strong working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Driven to see projects through from start to finish while staying flexible to manage and reprioritize multiple projects at once.
• Able to tackle projects and problems alone, but skilled at collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of the methods and techniques in the design and operation of automated process control systems and their components.
• A self-starter, comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with very little red tape.
• A strong communicator, able to write, speak, and present to all levels of the organization

    • BS in Engineering required (preferably in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering)
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - internships apply
    • Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques in the design and operation of automated process control systems and their components, required
    • Familiarity with standard software packages, including Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project Scheduler or equivalent), database and flowcharting, required
    • Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor or Solid Works, required
    • Knowledge of applying Lean principles such as 5S, One Piece Flow, JIT, Judoka, TPM, KanBan and SMED, preferred
    • Knowledge of six sigma tools and methodologies preferred.
