Starting pay at up to - - - - - - - - - - $22/hour, based on
experience and certifications. - -What You'll Do:
Inspect, repair and replace defective
or worn components on railcar equipment in safe working order, such
as truck assembly, safety appliances, brake systems, wheels, and
draft systemsDiagnose and identify malfunctionsInspect bearings,
seals, gaskets, wheels, and coupler assemblies to determine if
repairs are neededTest and operate engines, hydraulics, and
electrical systemsClean units and componentsEnsure proper
operationWhat You'll Need:
A good work ethicExperience with hand
toolsPrevious mechanic experience desiredFamiliarity with welding a
plusUpdated background check and drug testThe desire to work hard
