Job Description Goggin Warehousing is hiring a Mechanic TechnicianWe are hiring a diesel mechanic to service our fleet in the Shelbyville, TN area.Mechanic Details:Earn up to $22 an hourMonday - Friday w/possible Saturday7am - 4:30pmMechanic Requirements & Duties: Conduct routine maintenance and light to moderate repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements and inspections. Diagnose and repair light to moderate mechanical and electrical issues in diesel-powered vehicles. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts and services. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and industry standards. All major repairs will be outsourced.Qualifications: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components. Basic computer skills. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Can work independently on most shop jobs. Capable of lifting 80 lbs. Reliable transportation.
