Electronics Engineer The Opportunity: As an electronics
engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That
knowledge is key when it comes to providing digital forensics and
engineering analysis on devices that threaten the safety of both
the warfighter and law enforcement personnel. We’re looking for an
electronics engineer who can use their skills to apply advanced
technical solutions in support of law enforcement investigations.
At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to support a
broad range of partners in law enforcement. Our team performs a
wide range of technical examinations required to successfully
exploit both commer cia l and custom electronic devices, including
performing electronic data recovery and digital forensic
examinations to identify and understand information of interest. In
addition, you'll c ond uct reverse engineering and characterization
of both the electrical function and communication characteristics
of electronic circuits, while using complex instrumentation to test
circuit function. That’s why we need you, an electronics engineer
who can capture critical information regarding the device’s
functionality to provide detailed analysis reports to law
enforcement organizations, military services, and international

electrical devices with standard lab equipment, including
oscilloscopes, power supplies, RF signal generators, waveform
generators, audio analyzers, DSP analyzers, and multi met ers
Experience performing analysis, generating schematics, and
troubleshooting electronic or electrical devices to the component
level in various c ond itions Knowledge of electronic circuit
design and PCB layout Knowledge of physical interfaces used for
inter-IC communication, including I2C, SPI, LPC, or PCIE Ability to
prepare written documents, including reports, test plans, design
specifications, requirements documents, and training materials
Ability to brief and present findings to clients, customers, and
external partners, interact with client engineers, and resp ond to
technical questions and requests from customers Ability to travel
up to 10% of the time internationally Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Nice If You Have: Experience with Chain of Custody and evidence
handling procedures in a forensic laboratory Experience imaging,
extracting, and parsing data from electronic devices Experience
with reverse engineering tools, including IDA Pro, OllyDbg, or
Ghidra Knowledge of microcontroller architecture, including ARM or
RISC-V, and assembly language programming Ability to program with
Python, C, and C++ programming languages Clearance: Applicants
selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need
to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge,
skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will
