Training & Orientation at Amedisys:
Taking care of our people and investing in their success is among our top priority! Prior to expectations of providing patient care, our new hires receive several weeks of hands-on training and orientation needed to provide the highest end-of-life quality care to our hospice patients and families.

Schedule:
This is a full-time, full benefited hospice position to work a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule.

Description:
As a hospice RN Case Manager for Amedisys, you will have a special opportunity to provide, coordinate and direct the provision of hospice nursing and palliative care needs to terminally ill patients in their home. Our registered nurses closely collaborate with the attending physician, patients and their families, and other members of the care team to provide and maintain continuity of patient care to achieve excellent pain and symptom management and high-quality end-of-life care. This RN will work 1:1 with patients in their home environment. Our goal is to allow the time needed for our clinicians to truly provide the support and care needed for each patient and their families.

Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in AL
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a RN
• CPR certification or willingness to recertify if needed
• Must be comfortable completing clinical nursing visits in the patient's home setting
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, proof of auto insuranceBenefits:
