Medical Center is seeking an experienced board-certified Vascular
Surgeon to join Surgery Group, a dynamic well-established group in
Florence, AL. Medical Center is a 263-bed health care organization
that opened a replacement hospital in 2019. NAMC has grown into the
largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama
and serves as the primary referral center for northwest Alabama,
south central Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. There are over
200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of
medicine. North Alabama Medical Center is a primary stroke center
and a certified chest pain center.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Florence, Alabama is a lovely city in the northwest part of
Alabama. Florence is the largest city in what we call "the Shoals"
area, which includes Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield and
Tuscumbia. Approximately 80,000 people live in the Shoals. Florence
offers a variety of shopping and dining opportunities and the
Shoals is home to great cultural opportunities such as the Helen
Keller Festival and the W.C. Handy Music Festival. It is home to
the University of North Alabama (UNA), the state's oldest four-year
public university. Florence is located 45 minutes from Huntsville
and 2 hours from both Nashville and Birmingham.
