Registered Nurse (RN), -Geriatric Behavioral Health, PRN Where

wellbeing. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a
current state RN license. Additional requirements include: Basic
Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS
and PALS are required within six months of hire. One year of
experience preferred 2 year or greater of Charge nurse experience.

A Registered Nurse who possesses the clinical skills that allow for
appropriate assessment of patient care needs and demonstrates
accountability in coordinating age specific patient care. Serves as
a clinical resources for staff on their assigned shift or unit.
Coordinates patient care and delegates duties and responsibilities
to staff and holds individuals accountable for outcomes achieved
First line supervisor over a group of employees or a unit. May
initiate disciplinary action and provide input into a subordinate's
performance evaluations. Instructs workers in normal operational
tasks. Includes department managers of small departments. About our

acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all
patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology
services; medical/surgical inpatient units; and intensive care and
short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the region's only
in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer
Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals'
only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults. Shoals
