requires providing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
The nurse will manage post-surgical orthopedic, urology, general,
and bariatric patients. Common diagnoses include sepsis, urinary
tract infection, cellulitis, and hypertension. The unit has a total
of 56 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1. Charting will be
done using Cerner. There may be opportunities for float support to
various units. Special procedures are not specified. Candidates
should be prepared to work every other weekend. Successful
applicants will be required to uphold high standards of patient
