Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: Required certifications as outlined by job qualifications Must-Have: Flu and COVID vaccines required; medical or religious exceptions accepted Description: The position involves providing care in a telemetry unit setting. The nurse will manage patients with common diagnoses such as post-heart catheterization, jaw surgery, and chest pain. The nurse will work in a critical care stepdown environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3-4:1. Charting will be performed using Cerner software. The role may require floating to critical care and med-surg areas as needed, based on skillset. Special procedures include pulling sheaths. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. On-call requirements are not applicable for this position.
