Pay Information $1,912 per week About The Position Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid state nursing license or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Previous ICU experience required Critical thinking skills Description: This position is for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse. The facility offers care to adult, geriatric, and seasonal pediatric populations. The ICU consists of 6 beds with patient ratios of 1:2. Candidates must demonstrate effective critical thinking skills and familiarity with managing complex diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). An upbeat and optimistic personality is preferred for this role. Float requirements may include moving to other non-specialty areas as needed.
