Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adult patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, and managing chronic illnesses. This role requires a strong background in internal medicine, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate treatment plans are implemented. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans. Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more for comprehensive patient care. Perform procedures including suturing, catheterization, and airway management as needed. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle modifications and disease management. Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Engage in discharge planning for hospitalized patients to facilitate smooth transitions of care. Experience Board certification in Internal Medicine is required. Experience with EHR systems, particularly Epic, is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques such as CT scans and mammography is beneficial. Previous experience in critical care settings or hospital medicine is advantageous. Knowledge of various specialties including psychiatry, dermatology, oncology, and pediatrics is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (CPT/ICD), and documentation standards is essential. Clinical experience in outpatient settings as well as inpatient care is preferred.
