patient wellbeing. Qualifications and requirements Applicants
should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements
include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 14
days of hire. BLS certification; ACLS certification. This position
requires 4-6 years recent hospital experience in which an advanced
level of leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills has
been demonstrated. Previous management experience preferred What
you will do The Administrative Supervisor is primarily responsible
for representing Administration on their assigned shifts,
communicating administrative concerns and implementing hospital
policy. They may assist Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse with staffing
and the allocation of staff to meet workload demands; coordinates
placement of float staff; collaborates with Directors and Nurse
Managers/Unit Manager on operational issues and serves as a
resource to internal and external customers. Functions as a
mediator between internal departments to facilitate patient care by
resolving issues/problems. About our Health System North Alabama
Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting
spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency
department, medical and oncology services; medical/surgical
inpatient units; short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the
region's only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W.
Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the
Shoals' only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults.
