Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Requires one at least one year of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred. What you will do Will be responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care. Identifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers. Will execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions. Will advocate for the patient representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts. Will be responsible to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.
