Job Description Job Description We are seeking a compassionate
and highly skilled Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care to an
older adult population . This REMOTE role is ideal for clinicians
who are mission-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in a
dynamic, startup-style environment with a strong focus on quality,
access, and value-based care. We are prioritizing candidates who
are credentialed with national payers and have experience managing
complex psychiatric and medical comorbidities. Licensure &
Certification Requirements Board Certified PMHNP Active NP license
and DEA in Florida or Texas (required) Ability to practice in
Indiana, Arizona, Illinois, and other states as needed
Credentialing with national providers strongly preferred Clinical
Experience & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse
Practitioner in acute and/or complex psychiatric settings ,
including: Emergency Departments Urgent Care Inpatient Psychiatric
Units Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) ACT teams Nursing Homes
Outpatient mental health clinics Demonstrated experience managing
patients with serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders
(SUD), and dementia Strong knowledge of geriatric
psychopharmacology and psychiatric diagnostics Experience caring
for patients with significant medical comorbidities and complex
social needs, including social determinants of health Core
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric
evaluations and follow-up visits Accurately diagnose psychiatric
conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe and
manage psychotropic medications safely and effectively Provide
supportive therapeutic interventions and crisis management when
needed Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary
care teams Make appropriate referrals to psychotherapy and care
management services Participate in weekly case review and
supervision with an MD Engage with clinical quality metrics,
audits, and performance reviews Respond promptly to patient calls,
medication requests, and clinical messages Professional

judgment and ability to manage crisis situations High level of
professionalism, including reliability, timeliness, and
accountability Clear and effective communication with patients,
peers, and leadership Willingness to seek supervision, integrate

who aligns with organizational goals and supports colleagues
Technology & Work Environment Strong computer and software
proficiency Comfortable navigating telehealth platforms and virtual
care delivery Fluency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet,
etc.) Comfortable working in a startup environment , including
flexibility, pilot programs, and evolving care models Previous
telehealth/virtual care experience required Experience with managed
care, collaborative care, or value-based care models preferred
Schedule & On-Call Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM On-call (phone
only): 1 week every 3-4 months as needed Very light call volume
(average 0-2 calls per day , rare emergencies) Preferred Skills
Bilingual Spanish and/or Haitian Creole highly desirable Pay
