be considered. Deliver exceptional patient care in a cardiac
stepdown unit, specializing in complex cardiovascular cases
including coronary artery disease, post-CABG recovery, and
dysrhythmia management. This contract role offers the opportunity
to apply your nursing expertise in a fast-paced environment
supporting critical cardiac procedures such as cardiac
catheterization, open heart surgery, ablation, and implantable
cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) management. Location:Situated in
Alabaster, AL, this position places you in a welcoming community

off the job. Schedule and Hours: 12-hour night shifts from 1900 to
0700 36 to 48 hours per week Every other weekend required
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
with cardiac-related diagnoses on a 42-bed stepdown unit Manage
patient caseloads with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring
individualized and attentive care Utilize Epic electronic health
records (EHR) for accurate and timely charting Support clinical
activities in cardiac short stay and chest pain observation units
Assist with specialized cardiac procedures and monitor patients
post-operatively Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
optimize patient outcomes Qualifications: Active RN license with
experience in cardiac stepdown nursing BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) certifications current Proficiency in handling
complex cardiovascular cases, including knowledge of cardiac cath,
open heart surgery, ablation, and ICD care Familiarity with Epic
charting system Ability to work night shifts and weekends as
