Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, a premier healthcare
facility in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated Operating Room
Nurse to join our skilled team of healthcare professionals. We are
known for our high-quality care in areas ranging from emergency
services to cardiology and orthopedics. As an OR Nurse at our
facility, you will play a critical role in managing patient care in
the operating room, working closely with surgeons and other medical
staff to ensure successful surgical outcomes and uphold the highest
standards of patient safety and care. Prepare operating rooms for
surgery procedures including sterilization Assist surgeons during
operations by providing necessary tools and materials Monitor
patient’s vital signs and maintain accurate medical records Ensure
all surgical equipment operates correctly Collaborate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans Handle pre-operative and post-operative care
Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques and
post-surgery care Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail and
high level of accuracy Ability to respond effectively in
high-stress situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state RN (Registered Nurse)
license BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American
Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Certification preferred
