Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, a leading provider of
emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation
services in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated PACU Nurse to
join our professional healthcare team. In this role, you will be
responsible for monitoring post-anesthesia patients, providing
high-quality, compassionate care, and ensuring the safe and
effective recovery of patients after surgery. As a PACU Nurse at
our facility, you will take pride in contributing to a healthcare
setting that is known for its patient-centered service and for
providing exceptional medical care. Monitor patient vital signs and
levels of consciousness post-operatively to ensure proper recovery
from anesthesia. Administer prescribed medications, manage pain,
and prevent complications. Communicate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
continuity of care. Provide emotional support and updates to
patients and their families regarding recovery progress. Document
patient status and the care provided during the recovery phase.
Proficiency in monitoring and assessing post-operative patients.
Strong ability to administer medications and perform necessary
interventions to manage pain and complications. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail in
patient care and documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Tennessee or compact license. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred.
