services in Nashville, Tennesseeis seeking a dedicated Nurse Extern
PRN for our Med Surg ICU. This role provides an invaluable learning
opportunity in a high-stakes environment, supporting the delivery
of exceptional care to our critical patients. Ideal candidates will
be passionate about healthcare and eager to enhance their skills
under the guidance of experienced nursing professionals in a
dynamic, fast-paced setting. You will gain hands-on experience,
contributing directly to patient care plans and outcomes while
working alongside skilled healthcare providers in one of the
leading hospitals in the region. Assist in the daily care of
critically ill patients and support the Med Surg ICU team. Monitor
and record patient vital signs, reporting any changes to the
supervising nurse. Administer medications and treatments under the
direct supervision of a registered nurse. Assist with collecting
patient history and performing initial patient assessments. Provide
emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their
families. Maintain a clean and safe environment ensuring all
infection control protocols are followed. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure
environments Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines
Proficiency in using medical equipment required for daily tasks
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is beneficial.
