TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role is critical in assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team focused on providing exceptional medical care and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology nursing, demonstrating expertise in patient care, and a commitment to maintaining a compassionate and professional environment. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, including taking medical histories and medication administration. Monitor patient status and provide care during procedures. Operate and maintain cardiac cath lab equipment. Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care. Strong clinical skills in a cardiovascular setting Proficiency in operating complex medical equipment High level of detail and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to multitask and manage time effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
