Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, seeks a dedicated and skilled Respiratory
Therapist to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team.
This vital role involves caring for neonates who require intensive
respiratory support, working alongside a team of specialized
healthcare professionals. Successful candidates will demonstrate a
profound understanding of neonatal respiratory care and be
committed to providing the highest level of patient-focused service
in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment. Provide
respiratory care and life support to neonates with breathing
disorders. Assess patients and develop treatment plans in
conjunction with neonatologists and other healthcare team members.
Monitor and manage ventilators and other life support systems.
Educate parents and families on the neonate’s condition and ongoing
treatment plan. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
discuss patient care and progress. Maintain patient records and
document all treatment provided. Proficiency in neonatal ventilator
management Strong diagnostic abilities and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Compassion and sensitivity to deal with parents and families during

Therapist RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC) BLS certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
