We are in search of a General Surgeon to provide comprehensive care, offering 24-hour call coverage for a Level 4 facility. This engaging assignment spans 7 days a month, emphasizing ER call and unattached needs within a 198-bed hospital setting. The primary focus will be on covering patients in both clinic and hospital settings, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Your role involves collaborating within a team of dedicated physicians, joining two additional general surgeons in delivering exceptional patient care. Certification in ACLS is required for privileges, enabling you to confidently address diverse medical needs. While trauma cases are not part of this assignment, your expertise will be crucial in managing acute care needs as they arise. The schedule presents a balanced mix of clinic and call duties, fostering a dynamic work-life equilibrium. You'll be engaged in a ratio of 3 physicians in the clinic to 2 physicians on call, with a minimum of 10 days per month, three of which are required over weekends.
