Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional
requirements include: - Basic Life Support certification is
required within 30 days of hire. - ACLS and PALS are required
within six months of hire. - Requires one to three years of work
experience. Greater than 2 years preferred. - Must have 1 year of
interoperate surgery OR experience. What we offer Fundamental to

opportunities What you will do - The RN is responsible and
accountable for providing and coordinating patient care. - The RN
identifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through
assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care
providers. The RN will execute physician orders and supervise the
implementation of nursing interventions. - The RN functions as a
patient advocate representing the patient's interests when illness
prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to
express their own feelings or thoughts. - The RN evaluates response
to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient
satisfaction and acceptable cost. About our Health System North
Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility
boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour
emergency department, medical and oncology services;
medical/surgical inpatient units; and short-stay surgery units.
Shoals also operates the region's only in-patient acute
rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and
the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals' only psychiatric unit
