Registered Nurse (RN), PACU, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Job Type: Full time 36 hours; weekender with call required. (Call - 3:00 pm Friday - 7:00 am Monday) Where We Are: Florence, Alabama is situated in Northwestern Alabama, where the Tennessee River Flows through the scenic Shoals. Our surgical team consists of specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists and other highly trained professionals. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include: - Associate's Degree in Nursing required. - 1 to 2 years of ICU/ER/PACU experience preferred. - Must have an active AL or Compact RN License. - Must have ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire. What you will do RN responsible for providing the immediate post-op recovery care of the Perioperative patient in the PACU through the use of the nursing process. The Nursing process is defined as the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient.
