Job Description PRN Medical Provider – Veteran Evaluations
Location: Cookeville, Tennessee Compensation: $1000/day (5 hour
shift), $500/day (0-4 hours), plus malpractice insurance Schedule:
PRN | Up to 12 hours per week About the Opportunity A government
contractor is seeking licensed medical providers for an ongoing PRN
role conducting one-time, non-treatment medical evaluations for
U.S. Veterans. This position focuses on Compensation & Pension
(C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments and offers
flexible scheduling with predictable workload. Position Details
PRN, ongoing need Up to 12 hours per week Half-day (4-hour) and
full-day (8-hour) shifts available One-time evaluations only Exams
are primarily interview-based with limited physical assessments
(range of motion, muscle strength) No prescribing, no treatment
Local candidates only (travel included in rate) Fast credentialing
and onboarding process Accepted Provider Backgrounds- MUST be
board-certified Family Medicine Internal Medicine Orthopedic
Surgery General Medicine Prior Compensation & Pension (C&P)
experience preferred Additional Notes Some follow-up administrative
work (such as addendums, medical opinions, and review of
diagnostics) is required as part of the role and is included in the
daily rate.
