Job Description:

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Float Pool Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality medical care across various emergency units. The ideal candidate will adapt quickly to different emergency situations, support continuous patient care, and uphold the standards of nursing excellence that TriStar Centennial is known for. This position offers the unique opportunity to work across multiple specialties within the emergency department, enhancing your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in multiple emergency units. Assess patient condition, administer medication, and monitor responses to treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure effective patient care delivery. Maintain clear and accurate patient records and report any pertinent changes in patient status to the appropriate practitioners. Educate patients and their families on management of illnesses and disease prevention. Adapt to varying work environments within the ER and manage multiple clinical tasks efficiently. Strong clinical skills in emergency care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to think critically and make quick decisions High proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems Capability to handle high-stress situations with composure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
