As a Med Surg Float Pool Nurse, you will apply your expertise in a wide range of medical conditions, adapting to new environments while maintaining high standards of care. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse range of medical-surgical settings. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and families on post-hospital care. Maintain flexibility to float across multiple units while ensuring consistent quality of care. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and guidelines and assist in the development of nursing care standards. Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical nursing. Excellent adaptability to rapidly changing environments. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
