Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Pediatric ICU Nurse to join our expert team of
healthcare professionals. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, our
facility boasts state-of-the-art technology and a commitment to the
health care needs of children requiring intensive care. As a
Pediatric ICU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing
high-level care for children with severe medical conditions. Your
expertise in pediatric care and critical care nursing will support
our mission to offer exceptional medical services, ensuring the
well-being and recovery of our youngest patients. Provide constant
monitoring and care to children in the pediatric ICU unit.
Administer medications, treatments, and collaborate with the
healthcare team to ensure optimal care. Educate and support
patients' families regarding conditions and treatment plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review cases and
improve service standards. Maintain accurate patient records and
prepare reports on patients' progress. Stay current with
advancements in the field and participate in professional
development activities. Strong clinical skills in a pediatric ICU
setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using medical software and patient management
systems. Ability to work flexibly and respond to emergency
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Tennessee or eligible. Certification in Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS). Certification as a Critical Care Registered
Nurse (CCRN) is preferred but not required.
