Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Outpatient Clinic Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Patient Population: Adult Location: Decatur, GA Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Interpret imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI Perform diagnostic procedures, guiding biopsy procedures when necessary Oversee the mammography program, ensuring compliance with ACR, FDA, and MQSA standards Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and primary care doctors Conduct patient consultations to discuss diagnostic findings and treatment paths Stay current with the latest advancements in breast imaging Qualifications Degree: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (or equivalent from a U.S. or Canadian accredited school) Accreditation by relevant bodies such as the American Medical Association or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation Working Hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Skills Strong expertise in breast imaging technologies Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team Excellent communication skills for patient consultations and multidisciplinary collaboration Commitment to continuing education and staying updated with industry advancements
