Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position, requiring at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Med/Surg unit on floor 6 of a hospital setting - Patient care provided on day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. - 13-week contract assignment - No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility - RTO requests must be less than 1 week - Former permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible - Complete work history and credentials must be included for consideration /n /n Requirements/n - Active AL or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - Certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-652015.
