Position Title:Forklift OperatorPay Rate:$20.00/hr. up to $25.83/hr. after qualifying periodCategory/Shift:Hourly, Full-TimeNights - Shift C 11 pm- 7 am,Swing Shifts - rotating days, Shift A - 7 am-3pm, Shift B - 3 pm-11 pmThe plant currently operates 24/7 with 8 hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm swing shifts, fixed night shift 11pm-7am) but we anticipate moving to a 12 hour shift program as soon as staffing levels allow to give all employes an enhanced work-life balance. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.While the entry level Forklift Operators position starts at $18.72 per hour, it increases to $22.59 after the probationary period of 90 work days (plus shift differentials). Employees can progress to other positions with higher rates of pay as they progress.Pre-Employment process includes all candidates successfully completing an operations test, drug screening and background/employment verification prior to their start date.Successful candidates must be available to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Must be willing and able to work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends as business conditions require. At times, employees are required to work overtime without notice.The plant currently operates 24/7 with 8 hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm swing shifts, fixed night shift 11pm-7am) but we anticipate moving to a 12 hour shift program as soon as staffing levels allow. (With this, the team will work 3 consecutive shifts, followed by 4 days off, 3 shifts, then 7 days off, 3 shifts, and 4 days off, and 3 shifts and 1 day off.)
