*Job title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (Local Only)**Hourly gross pay: $30 - $32**Location: Decatur, AL 35601**Duration: 11 weeks**Required Certifications/License:-**Active BLS**Active LPN Compact /AL State license**2 years LPN work experience**Duties** Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider* Assist in patient assessments and collaborate in the development of care plans* Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior* Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care skills* Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations*Qualifications** Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of practice* Proficient in IV infusion and wound care techniques* Experience with case management and behavioral health is preferred* Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks* Knowledge of specialized procedures like sutures, ophthalmology, spinal taps, and ventilator care is a plus* Health coaching certification is advantageous for this roleJob Type: ContractPay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insurancePhysical Setting:* Long term care* Nursing home* Rehabilitation centerSupplemental Pay:* Completion bonus* Overtime payExperience:* LPN: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* LPN Compact/AL State License (Preferred)* BLS/CPR Certificate (Preferred)Work Location: In person
