We are seeking a bilingual Translator (English/Japanese) to support plant-wide communications between the local team and Japanese advisors.. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Business or a related field, 2+ years of translation experience (preferably in manufacturing), and fluency in both written and spoken English and Japanese.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate technical documents, reports, and conversations between English and Japanese.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training, and on-site discussions.
• Assist Japanese visitors and executives, ensuring seamless communication.
• Act as a cultural liaison, bridging communication gaps across teams.
• Maintain accurate records of translated materials and interactions.
• Support cross-functional teams (engineering, production, HR, management) with language needs.
• Stay updated on industry terminology and company policies for accurate translation.
  
  Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Business or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years in translation (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Skills:Fluency in English and Japanese (written & verbal).
  • Strong technical translation abilities in manufacturing/engineering contexts.
  • Proficiency in translation tools, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Cultural awareness to facilitate international communication.
  • Certifications: JLPT N1/N2 or other relevant certification is a plus.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable in manufacturing settings, including standing, walking, and handling confidential information.
