We have an opening at our polystyrene production facility in Decatur, Alabama for a: Control Systems Technician (Instrument & Electrical) As a member of the Maintenance Team, this Technician: * Holds high standards for safety, health, and the environment * Provides instrument and electrical reliability and quality for site facility. Maintains control systems at peak designed condition. Repairs, installs, and commissions associated equipment.. * Troubleshoots, maintains, and calibrates site instrumentation, including distributed process control, PLC's, controllers, transmitters, control valves, measuring devices, etc. * Troubleshoots and maintains electrical systems including high voltage equipment, motors and motor controls, DC and variable speed drives, etc. * Requires good motivational, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to operate with cross-functional teams in a chemical manufacturing facility environment. * Starting hourly rate $33.94 with progression increases at 6-month intervals for 24 months.
