Job Family:Strategy & Transformation ConsultingTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do:The Candidate will support the strategic and operational needs of a Defense and Security client and will contribute to strategic planning, research, analysis, operational management, and change management initiatives to enable and support high-impact outcomes. The role will require frequent in-person interaction with senior military and government leaders.The Candidate must be able to lead meetings and facilitate diverse teams across multiple workstreams, requirements gathering and planning sessions with senior-level clients, lead the development of work products for senior-level executive clients, lead the analysis and documentation of complex initiatives and translate the impact on organizational effectiveness, and lead the creation and maintenance of project documentation (e.g., strategic plans, standard operating procedures, functional roles and job aides). The ideal candidate has the ability to use data to inform strategy, problem-solve, and make decisions; demonstrates creative thinking skills and individual initiative; and possesses an innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity regarding military, industry, and academic trends.This role will partner with others to:--- Support clients to drive strategic planning and business optimization projects.--- Research, analyze, and make recommendations to processes, systems, structure, and culture. --- Analyze client business structures, procedures, processes, and utilization of resources and develop and effectively communicate recommendations for improvement.--- Design and implement a variety of development initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials.--- Support the socialization of cultural and management transformational requirements--- Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.This role will also:--- Utilize creative thinking skills and individual initiative to inform both client work and internal efforts.--- Develop trusted relationships with clients and team members.--- Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and feedback to team members.What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Required Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ Years of organizational development, organizational design, military, government, or management consulting experience working with government clients, or applicable experience in a professional services environment, and 5+ Years planning and leading teams, including achieving objectives on time and to standard. The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.What Would Be Nice To Have:
    • Degree Preferred: Master's degree (e.g., Strategic Studies, Organizational Development, Strategy, Acquisition, MBA, Communications)
    • 5+ years of experience with conducting organizational assessments, developing strategic outlooks/visions/plans, developing business cases, and making recommendations for improvement within an acquisitions-based government organization.
    • Thorough understanding of Army Acquisition process.
    • Ability to lead, collaborate, and contribute to high performing teams with a high standard for quality
    • Ability to think critically, strategically, and innovatively to identify opportunities
    • Ability to effectively engage and interact with senior-level clients
    • Ability to identify and address client needs and deliver quality results in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
    • Ability to effectively prioritize activities to achieve client objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Exudes professionalism, is flexible, and has a positive attitude
    • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations or demonstrations to customers or stakeholders
