(MTSI) is seeking a candidate with a Systems Engineering and/or Weapon Systems modeling background to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) efforts to develop system level modeling and simulation (M&S) requirements for its distributed M&S federation. The candidate will apply MTSI's simulation conceptual modeling (SCM) process which essentially translates the physical representation of a real system into suitable abstractions that result in requirements that drive the development of the distributed M&S federation. The candidate will have demonstrated ability in systems thinking and familiarity with defense systems Role and ResponsibilitiesWork with M&S Requirements team and MDS elements to develop and document simulation conceptual models (SCMs)Conduct analysis of MDS system specification (SS) and phased implementation plan (PIP) to assist in the development of translatable M&S requirements Assists in the development and coordination of specification change notices (SCNs) and related artifactsAssist in the development of M&S System Requirements Documents (SRDs)Participate in technical interchange meetings, generate reports and briefs Qualifications:MA/MS degree and 12+ years (or BA/BS degree with 20+ years) working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projectFamiliarity with DOORS Next Generation (DNG) Data Base and publishing toolsFamiliarity with requirements development processesFamiliarity with simulation conceptual model processes and toolsMust possess a Secret level security clearance (or higher)Familiarity with Missile Defense System (MDS) #LI-AS1
