Description:2nd Shift Production SuperintendentMonday through Friday3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The Production Superintendent will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. Requirements: Supervisory Responsibilities:-- Oversee and coordinate the production process to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders. -- Manage production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and prioritize project deadlines. -- Address and resolve production challenges or bottlenecks to enhance productivity.-- Enhance and refine manufacturing processes and procedures, focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. -- Liaise with the Maintenance Department to manage equipment repairs and address issues that could impact facility performance. -- Directly handle performance management and disciplinary actions for team members. -- Promote and maintain a Safety-First Culture with a commitment to continuous improvement. -- Ensure all production processes adhere to company standards and regulations. Duties/Responsibilities:-- Manages production operations during assigned shifts with a priority on safety.-- Develop work schedules to optimize operational efficiency.-- Stays informed about processes and equipment.-- Maintains a safe, healthy, and organized work environment.-- Provides coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.-- Reports equipment issues to the maintenance department.-- Ensures employees adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures.-- Undertakes additional related tasks as needed.Required Skills/Abilities: -- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.-- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.-- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.-- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.-- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.Education and Experience:2-3 years of experience supervising in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word and ExcelExperience collecting data, defining problems, and developing solutionsGeneral equipment repair and maintenance experience is a plusKnowledge of manufacturing tools and equipmentAbility to create and adhere to production processesPhysical Requirements: -- Must be able to traverse the production facility.-- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.PI154af91c48e7-25660-35429313
