Job Description:

General Purpose of the Job Electrical repairs consistent with ensuring equipment performs so as not to impede production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Repairs, maintains and installs electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment of all machinery and buildings of the plant. Locates, determine s reason for electrical failures and carries out necessary repairs. Ensures all electrical parts, wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements and are operating in a safe, efficient manner. Performs preventative electrical maintenance procedures as required. Replaces electrical components, motor parts and wiring as required. Conducts electrical tests and maintains maintenance and repair records as required. May test and repair electronic components and equipment. Complies with requirements as outlined in the company handbook. Regular and prompt attendance. Practices good housekeeping. Performs other duties as may be assigned. Practices and obeys the environmental, health and safety rules of the company. Education and/or Experience Associates degree or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
