Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our healthcare team. Located in the heart of Williamson, WV, our center is renowned for providing exceptional medical care with a focus on innovative care and wellness programs tailored for the community. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting our gastroenterology specialists by preparing and maintaining endoscopy equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment. Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment before and after procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures. Sterilize and disinfect equipment and working areas. Handle and process specimens collected during procedures according to specified guidelines. Stock and manage supplies and ensure operational readiness. Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Proficiency with endoscopic equipment and tools. Strong knowledge of sterilization and cleaning protocols. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Endoscopy Technician credential (preferred but not required). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
