Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Part-time Winder Operator to join their team. As a Part-time Winder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting coil winding operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Part-time Winder Operator Location: Rainsville, AL Pay Range: $15.00/hour Shift: Thursday and Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM What's the Job? Wind basic coils to meet specifications and quality standards Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE Select and prepare tools, check wire gauge, insulators, and materials based on specifications Operate coil winding equipment, including semi-automatic and hand-guided machines Insert insulators, splice and solder wires, and operate hydraulic presses to form coils What's Needed? Good verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret process instructions, drawings, and bill of materials Prior manufacturing experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Physical ability to work at a fast pace, stand or sit for long periods, and handle repetitive motions What's in it for me?
