Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Position
available for a School Psychologist or Psychometrist in a K-12
educational setting based in Pelham, AL. This contract role spans
the current school year, with a commitment of approximately 30
hours per week. Key responsibilities include: Conducting
comprehensive psychological evaluations and screenings to identify
learning, emotional, or behavioral disabilities. Collaborating with
teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and
support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Interviewing
students and observing their behavior in school environments to
gather thorough educational, social, and medical histories.
Administering, scoring, and analyzing various psychological and
neuropsychological tests following established protocols. Preparing
detailed reports for inclusion in students official records and
complying with legal evaluation requirements. Assisting with data
collection and preliminary analysis for psychometric research.
Supporting school personnel through the administration and
completion of evaluations necessary for determining student
eligibility and educational planning. Desired qualifications and
experience: Proven experience as a School Psychologist or
Psychometrist in K-12 environments. Strong understanding of IEP
development and collaborative educational processes. Ability to
manage sensitive information and adhere to privacy standards.
Competence in a range of psychological assessment tools and data
reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for
working with students, families, and school staff alike. This
