Job Description:

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, located in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Critical Care unit on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As a critical component of our healthcare team, the RN will provide top-tier medical services in a facility known for its comprehensive emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation offerings. The successful candidate will deliver patient care with compassion, adhere to the highest standards, and join a team committed to impacting patient lives positively. Assess, plan, and implement critical care nursing care based on patient's needs Monitor and maintain patient records and health status continuously while providing direct patient care Administer prescribed medications, report any adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and maintain accurate patient records Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the best care plan for patients Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment, and post-hospital care Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and others Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement efforts Exceptional clinical skills in a critical care environment Strong ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in utilizing EMR systems and technology Ability to make quick and accurate assessments of patient conditions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Tennessee BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association CCRN Certification preferred
