Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Adult Mental Health Nurse to join our specialized team in providing
outstanding mental health services. This role focuses on caring for
adults suffering from a range of mental health conditions,
delivering both clinical support and emotional care within our
state-of-the-art healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will
apply evidence-based practices in mental health treatment plans,
participate in therapeutic sessions, and contribute actively to
patient recovery and well-being. Assess, plan, and implement
nursing care for adult patients with mental health issues.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare
professionals to develop treatment plans. Administer medications
and monitor side effects and overall health conditions. Provide
therapeutic care including individual counselling and group therapy
sessions. Educate patients and families about mental health
conditions and promote mental health awareness. Maintain accurate
patient records and ensure confidentiality and ethics. Proficiency
in mental health nursing practices. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to manage stress and remain calm
under pressure. Skilled in crisis intervention techniques. Medical

Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee. Certified Psychiatric
Nurse (CPN) preferred.
