Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Contingent Forklift Operator Location: Woodstock, AL Pay Range: $17.00/hour Shift: Second (Monday - Friday 6:00 PM - 6::30 AM) What's the Job? Operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the facility. Perform safety checks on equipment before use, including checking fluid levels and ensuring operational safety. Manage inventory by removing palletized bags from production lines and placing them in designated storage areas. Utilize stretch-wrappers to secure pallets and ensure proper storage without damage. Maintain cleanliness in the work area by restacking, trash removal, and equipment washing, supporting a safe and organized environment. What's Needed? Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely and effectively. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb on/off equipment as needed. Comfort working in outdoor (dusty, hot, cold, or rainy) environments. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
